3 Boho Fall Looks for Family Pictures

Three fall family portrait outfit title blog post picture
The beautiful fall time is here with the cooler temps, autumn colors and all the fun festivities of the holidays around the corner. And with fall comes the time of the year where we all LOVE to take family pictures together. I know the cooler temps is why I love this time for pictures, it just makes everyone less cranky and all the gorgeous fall outfits are another plus. Today I'm gonna show off 3 bohemian fall style looks that are great to wear in family portraits or any kind of picture or occasion you have coming up.

The first look is what I would call an absolute classic fall look. When I think of fall and on into the holidays I think of SWEATERS!! This fall outfit features a really fun and unique crew style turtle neck sweater (almost like a boat neckline) that has a patchwork color block design in a gorgeous neutral color scheme. The sweater is paired with a vegan leather high waisted taupe skirt. This look can be worn with tights and booties or do a simple fall wedge. Layer up fun jewelry like I did with a hat or keep it simple. This sweater can also be worn a little more urban/trendy with distressed skinny jeans.

If using a look like this for family pictures a great color scheme for this would be a muted neutral theme. I have created a great mood color board below to show other options to pair with this outfit for you family.

The second look is a little more retro but still has all the autumn vibes. The main focal point of this look is the 70s style teal green velvet pants. These bottoms are a statement piece and can be worn dressy for work and pictures or even a little groovy with a graphic tee and kimono. Whichever is your style is perfect for you. For family portraits I paired these velvet flares with a paisley printed somewhat cropped peasant style blouse. This top is made shorter with elastic in the hemline to easily give you a tucked in look. It's not made to be a crop top per say but to have a shorter style top for outfits like this. Of course you can pair this top with a skirt as well with leggings and boots...and then with any look I always LOVE a good hat options.

For these theme I created a color mood board that is a little more vibrant. It features gorgeous jewel tone colors that will for sure pop in any kind of pictures you are planning.

The last fall picture look I have for ya'll is of course with flare jeans. Jeans are perfect really for anything but can also be great for pictuers that you don't necessarily want to be too dressy or formal. These jeans come with a fun retro vibe with a denim belt. I've paired these jeans with a multi printed fall short sleeve top and a gorgeous moss olive colored knit cardigan. The shirt is tucked in to show off the denim belt and the cardigan ties in the fall theme even more with the color of it. These jeans can also be worn with a sweater for a simple fall look too.

For the color mood board for these looks I went with more of an earthy tone with denim blues and soft greens.
